Contact lenses are medical devices and have the potential to cause permanent damage. They must be checked by an eye doctor on your eye. They are not “one-size-fits-all” products. Before purchasing lenses your eyes should be measured and the lenses should be checked to ensure that you can wear them safely.

Patient Review by Robert Y.

I don’t usually write reviews unless if it makes a huge impact on me. Throughout most of my life, I’ve worn glasses. Not only did I have astigmatism, but all 4 (or 5) Optometrists I have seen in the past 20 years couldn’t explain why contacts won’t work well with me. My prescription is about -5.75 on each eye, so it’s not THAT bad. I just took it as “it’s life” that I’ll be wearing glasses for the rest of my life…until I met Dr. Gording.

I read a bunch of reviews through yelp and decided to give him a try. In one visit, he was able to explain to me why my eyes had problems with contacts. He spent extra time figuring out my problem and in the end, he was able to find contacts that works well. For the first time in my life, I was able to wear contacts to work. How awesome! I felt like a different person! I would strongly recommend seeing him. He’s a pretty cool guy to talk to and really cares about his patients. His staff is also very helpful, from breaking down the costs to calling to remind me of appointments.

So what else can I say except that he’s the best? After all, he’s been able to do what others could not.
