Quick and clean

I’ve never felt like just another patient. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than two minutes to begin my visit but this visit was exceptional. I walked in and was immediately taken to a sink to wash my hands. There was evidence of infection control everywhere. I’ve never felt safer and I have worked in the healthcare field my whole life. This was my first time at Dr. Gording’s office following the retirement of my longtime eye doctor. It was a wonderful visit. I went in to see about lasik surgery (touch up). While I was not a candidate for surgery (it would not offer improvement), I did leave the office with options including contact lenses for when I don’t feel like wearing glasses. Dr. Gording is clearly an expert in his field. However, what I was most impressed about was his attention to detail, straight on approach and energy. It is very apparent that he loves his work and cares deeply about the eye health of his patients. Thank you!!!

This was my first time making an appointment to see an Eye doctor. Karen was phenomenal and super patient with me over the phone. The parking can be difficult if you have a morning appointment. After 40+ years of wearing hard contacts, I was not seeing that well. Dr Gording diagnosed the problem and said I should try soft contact lenses. I had tried them at least 3 times before and could never learn how to remove them. Dr. Gording and his staff are always a pleasure to be around. I drive over an hour just to keep Dr. Gording as my optometrist. He is competent, professional, and has a great sense of humor. Years prior to seeing Dr. Gording I had been convinced by another optometrist that my contacts, which were very uncomfortable, were the best that I could find. Due to this, I never wore them again and settled for glasses. When I found Dr. Gording he changed all of that. He fixed not only my prescription that was wrong, but found the perfect and most comfortable lense. I would recommend Dr. Gording to anyone and do so often.

Dr. Gording is the most knowledgeable optometrist I have seen. I owe my eye health to him. He caught a condition early on and has been treating it with a maintenance program that will keep it at bay for the rest of my life. If you want a dr. who will spend the time ro make sure your eyes are well taken care of Dr. Gording is your man. He carefully examines and puzzles out any eye issues you might have to get the correct prescription and make sure you are satisfied. My family has used his expertise to maintain eye health for many years. His staff is very accommodating.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Gording for over 20 years. He’s exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, and professional and has made a huge difference in our family’s life. When our daughter was 4 years old, she started developing apparent vision problems even though she tested 20-20 on the eye chart. Dr Gording was the only doctor who correctly diagnosed her binocular discoordination, and gave us a simple set of exercises to do at home that cleared the problem up after a few months. Had she not been promptly and properly treated, the condition would have likely handicapped her for the rest of her life.

Best Optometrist By Far
While it’s way beyond the scope of my review, let’s just it’s extremely difficult to fit me for glasses and/or contact lenses. Without the intellect and tenacity of Dr Gording I’d be walking around without an acceptable level of vision. All I can say is, go see Dr Gording!

Office Visit
